Though there is no update on any consideration by NTA, HRD minister’s review meeting with the heads of all boards has sparked a hope with students that these two exams i.e. JEE and NEET would also be postponed. As for JEE Advanced – if JEE Main is postponed, JEE Advanced would be postponed too.
Supreme Court gave verdict at 2:00 pm today.
SG Mehta said,” All the Class 10 examinations have been cancelled. Class 12 examination, however, is optional. CBSE has a scheme in which marks scored in past 3 exams will be taken into account. For Class 12, the exams will be conducted “as soon as the situation is conducive. Marks for the students who opt for the class 12 examination will have that marks as final.”
Class 12 students will be evaluated on their performance in the last 3 school exams. They can also appear for the Board exam at a later date to improve performance.
